In BP news, these two articles together are quite interesting:
- Why BP matters to the UK. The pension dependency on BP's dividend is stupid, but very very important. This will mean the the UK will care deeply about how the US goes after BP.
- BP is changing it's attitude. BP has changed from basically a 'screw you' response to the US gvmnt to acting scared. Related. But, remember, the UK considers BP very very very important. That dividend is very useful to the UK government.
This will be interesting to watch.
